Caring Wednesday - July - School Supplies

July Caring Wednesdays- please pick up school supplies to help select students at our local schools. Items needed include pencils, glue sticks, highlighters, rulers, notebooks, crayons/markers, etc. etc! Thank you for helping the children in our community, it’s what our club does, and does well!

I am honored to be the 2009 - 2010 president of the Oakland Park Kiwanis Club. I am looking forward to a very busy and rewarding year.

The 50 plus members of our club are very active in the Oakland Park community. We are involved in 32 different projects throughout the year. We work with 7 local schools, elementary through high school.

If you would like more details of our activities, visit our web site or I'll be glad to buy you breakfast at our weekly Wednesday morning meeting at Peter Pan Diner or a dinner at our evening meeting at Tequila Sunrise held on the last Tuesday of each month.

Everyone is welcome to join in the fun of helping our children. You will not find a better group of people to share a helping hand.
